Debates. This year President Bush & Senator John Kerry square off. |

-- With the Presidential campaign upon us, we thought it would our job to take a careful look and analyze both candidates.
(As we have done in years
prior.)
Although we thought items about a candidate such as skin complexion, photogenic rating or the ability to use patriotic catch phrases were important, we instead decided to look at intelligence level
for t is a factor often overlooked by the American public when voting for a President.
Since neither George Bush nor John Kerry have made their IQ or intelligence levels available to the public we decided to see if we can derive this information based on their speeches.
To do this we analyzed the three Presidential debates to determine the average word length and vocabulary size of each candidate to help us get to the answers.
But before we get to our findings let's take a brief look at both candidates.
Let's first take a look at Senator John Kerry.
