are people's biggest misconception about Bill?
I guess the whole "whether he was evil and a child hater" thing. People say that Bill Hicks was the ultimate cynic and even in some of Bill's routines, on stage sometimes he would like, refer to himself as a cynic, but the Bill that I knew was not a cynic. The Bill I knew was a very helpful, happy person, glad to be alive, even gladder to be dying and moving on to another world. He enjoyed nature, enjoyed sex, enjoyed drugs and no matter how horrible everything was with politics and such, everything was going to be okay in the end because we are all God's children and we are all one.
Before his death, Bill started writing starting a book entitled, The Beginning. What was it about and will it ever see the light of day?
God, I used to know the answer to this. I don't know. His mom has that, I don't have it. I've only seen a couple of pages out of it. I would probably recommend anybody out there to try to get into the Course of Miracles, but that's all that I can say. Hopefully someday his family will probably release a lot of Bill's personal writings, like memoirs and all of Bill's journals. He was really good at keeping journals. I mean, every time we used to have mushroom trips Bill would always be writing all this stuff down in a journal, so that will be interesting for me to read someday. I just hope that it is not edited or censored, which would really bum me out.
