Part 8 of 15

Now about women. Bill talked about how serial killers got women and yet he wasn't getting laid. Hence the song, "Chicks dig jerks." How was Bill with the ladies?

He did pretty good with the ladies. And that song still does ring true today. I broke up with a woman I was with for years. Going through like a dating scene, you really do realize that the women that you blow off are the ones that love you the most. And what always happens to every guy is that he blows it with the woman he loves hounding too hard on her or whatever, pressing too hard on her, etc. However, when he was young he was not very lucky with the ladies.

He then had one steady girlfriend for many years. A very beautiful, intelligent Italian girl from our high school, who has gone on to be a doctor. As he got more popular he did get laid a lot. Girls would always come up to him after the show and would be like, "I'll go with you," because he would make up some joke about being lonely that night or going back to the hotel room, flip a porno in and jerking off. A lot of women would take that seriously. But as you can imagine, any woman that would walk up to you and say, that, well, you're not gonna want to, ya know? So, no, Bill had his share of poon-tang, so you know, I think he did okay. In the early years he was very curious.

Bill once called himself Noam Chomsky with dick jokes. Did Bill talk politics much? What was his overall view?

Well, God, I think that could be a whole book. I'm not totally familiar with Noam Chomsky. I have seen some of his films, read some of the stuff. A lot of it had to do with crowd control and the main subject that comes up is the whole manufacturing consent thing. Bill realized, that most of the news and issues are diversions keeping the American's mind off of things that are really important. Just turn on CNN, "We are bombing a country today, but hey wait a minute! The Dallas Cowboys are in the playoffs."

"...instead of talking about how we can help this world and what we can do to better ourselves and our places in it, we are all going to get together and drink beer and eat chips and watch grown men pat each other on the ass on national TV."

Let's not worry about things that really affect us, like tax policies or anything like that b because me and all my guy friends, instead of talking about how we can help this world and what we can do to better ourselves and our places in it, we are all going to get together and drink beer and eat chips and watch grown men pat each other on the ass on national TV. It would have been great if Bill had got to do his talk show in England, if Noam Chomsky could have been a guest on that show, it would have been a very wonderful moment in history. Bill really thought of himself as being just as serious as Noam, but he also knew he had to throw in some humor so he could keep shoveling out his ideas. But the truth of the matter is that Bill enjoyed it."
